[Tang-residents] Important: Fire alarms

Dear residents,

As many of you already know, there was a fire in the trash collection area
earlier this evening. The authorities are busy repairing the damage to the
building, including damage to some of the fire alarm circuits. This will
cause the fire alarms to sound off intermittently for the rest of the
evening (exactly how long this will last is uncertain as yet). If you hear
the alarms sounding on and off, there is no need to evacuate. However, if
the alarm sounds off continuously without any stops, this indicates that the
fire threat is genuine and you must evacuate immediately.
