[Tang-residents] FIRE DRILL TUESDAY 4/12

FIRE DRILL

  There will be a planned fire drill on Tuesday April 12th, 2005.  The 
drill will start in TANG HALL  Between 5:00 and 5:45 pm.

      Representatives from the MIT Safety office, Campus Police, Facilities 
will be in attendance to ensure a safe evacuation and to answer any 
questions.

      MIT is committed to ensuring the safety of all residents living in 
campus housing.    We will be having fire drills periodically to ensure all 
residents recognize the bells and evacuate quickly and safely.

      ALL RESIDENTS MUST LEAVE THE BUILDING WHEN THE FIRE ALARM IS 
SOUNDING.    YOU MUST USE THE STAIRS. DO NOT USE THE ELEVATORS When you do 
not leave, you endanger the lives of the firefighters who will have to go 
in after you.

      Once outside if the weather is not good, all residents of TANG HALL 
may wait in the WESTGATE lobby.
