[Tang-residents] housing lottery

Dear Tang Hall Residents,

There have been some changes to the Housing Assignment Process that may
be of
interest to those who might wish to remain in Tang Hall for another year.
Specifically, current Tang Hall residents can apply in the Second Round
of the
Assignments process to try and secure housing in Tang for next year.
Here are
the details:

The Second Round of the Graduate Housing Assignments Process is now
open and
will close at 5pm on Tuesday, June 8. Results will be emailed the
evening of
June 11. The Application can be found at:

<http://web.mit.edu/housing/grad/assignments/second/>The following are 
the basic rules:

-- Only students who entered the First Round of the Housing Assignments
Process
and current Tang Hall residents can enter the Second Round.

-- Current Tang Hall residents who did not enter the First Round can
indicate
preferences for Tang Hall spots only.

-- All assignments to Tang are one year, non-renewable assignments. These
include assignments to students looking for continuing housing (those
who would
normally be in the Continuing lottery).

-- All the usual conditions from the first round apply; please read the
second
round application page carefully.
