[StarCluster] using StarCluster with R and Rmpi

OK so it sounds like this *could* be a compile issue although that's
hard to tell without the installation log. Would you mind sending the
output from the installation using the "R CMD INSTALL" method?

I'll try to give this a go in the next few days on a test cluster and
see if I can get it to work
