WRT to the problem with rebundling an already rebundled image - that problem happens to me even if I am not using create_image.py. It happens if I follow Amazon's instructions. I can get the instance to work properly after it has been rebundled one time. If I try to 

I've only been using the starcluster 64 bit AMI as my base, though, so I have no idea if the problem happens with other base AMIs.

If I use create_image.py, SGE doesn't work in the rebundled image. But it sounds like that's moot since there is a new version in the oven :)
