Hello Snowriders,

I hope you're excited for the first good snow of the season: up to a
foot of snow in the mountains in the next two days! If anyone is going
up I'm jealous :-)

Since snow is here, a couple of reminders for you:

1) Ski House memberships are still available

The Ski House is a full house with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large living
room, kitchen, dining room, hot tub, fireplace, fire pit, mud room/ski
storage, and best of all, its right in the Sunday River access road!

The website has tons of information:
  http://snowriders.mit.edu/skihouse

The memberships available are:

Students: $375* for 12 nights throughout the season (weekends)
Others MIT: $650 for 24 nights throughout the season (weekends)
Any-time: $1200 to go up as much as you want (but not to live there!)

Read all the details in the website
(http://snowriders.mit.edu/skihouse); if interested or have questions
e-mail:

   sr-skihouse at mit.edu

To become a member we'll invite you to a short in-person meeting so that
we can go over how the house works and make sure all the details are clear.

* If you buy a Season Pass from Snowriders the student membership is $350!

2) Season Pass deadline: NOVEMBER 30 (Sunday!)

The pass that we recommend is the New England College Pass, which is
valid (unrestricted) at Loon Mountain, Sunday River (location of the Ski
House), and Sugarloaf for $359. The Snowriders buses will be heading to
one of these mountains at least 5-6 times (around 3/4 of all of our
trips) over the course of the season. If you have a season pass, you pay
just the bus trip and not the lift ticket price! (A normal daily lift
ticket ranges from $83-89, so the pass pays for itself very quickly.)

How to get the pass:

a) Online at:
   http://bit.ly/ischneider
Click "Season Passes" -> "Sunday River 2014/15 College Season Pass."
(Its the pass for all three mountains, even if it is called Sunday River only.)

b) Get the PDF form at
   https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4GV6t0iJZNvZzhVWHZrS0xTVU0/view?usp=sharing
and send to Ian (ischneid at mit.edu)
