Hi gang-
So, I just returned from Loon after skiing the storm-brought pow with
fellow Snowrider Sam Prentice. We can tell you there is enough snow to last
weeks. Come next Sunday (2/17), we are heading to one of our favorite ski
resorts--Sugarloaf. Located in Carrabassett Valley in Maine, Sugarloaf is
one of the largest ski resorts east of the Rockies. At 4,237 feet, it is
also one of the tallest peaks and offers long continuous trails. There is
something for everyone--with 25% beginner, 32% intermediate, 28% advanced,
and 15% expert only trails. Sugarloaf is also home to Brackett Basin, one
of the largest (and legit) sidecountry areas in the Northeast. The resort
has received 16" of snow in the last one week and what's more, there are
mini storms predicted throughout this week. Do NOT miss this one!
