Greetings, Snowriders!

With the January thaw behind us, things are looking just as they should for
early February--cold and snowy! Next Saturday (2/9), we will head to Cannon
Ski Resort in New Hampshire. One of the beasts of the Northeast, at 4,080
feet, Cannon claims the highest ski area summit in New Hampshire. It’s also
home to the longest vertical drop in the state at 2,180 feet. There are
trails for all levels of expertise, with 21% beginner, 47% intermediate, 32
% expert trails.

With temperatures low enough for snowmaking throughout the week, I wouldn't
worry about snow. Also, it looks like Mother Nature might send 2-3" of
natural snow closer to our day of fun at Cannon. The bus ride will be
roughly two and a half hours each way.
