Hey Snowriders,

Its that time of the year again! Yes, its time to fill vacant officer
positions for the MIT Snowriders club as well as hold our annual welcome
back social.

1. Officer recruitment

This year there are a few open positions to be filled, and we are excited to
be bringing in some new blood. We will have some newly-reformatted "hybrid"
officer positions:

*Vice President *(last  year: Azriel Ghadooshahy)
Note: Two-year commitment is REQUIRED in order to maintain administrative
knowledge and to prepare to inherit the President position.
*Responsibilities: *
 1. Manages season pass sales
 2. Coordinate weekly bus trips
 3. Serve as a signatory for club expenses
 4. Represent the club at ASA meetings

*Webmaster-Treasurer *(last year: Irving Wang - Irene Chen):
Note: Programming experience required (PHP). Two-year commitment is strongly
preferred in order to maintain administrative knowledge.
*Responsibilities: *
1. Oversee club finances and expenses
2. Manage accounting on SAPweb
3. Manages the club website and online sales
4. Act as financial signatory
5. Assist VP with season pass sales

*Social Chair - Secondary GSC Ski trip coordinator* (last year Nancy
Guillen)
Note: A two-year commitment is REQUIRED in order to maintain administrative
knowledge and to prepare to inherit the Primary Ski trip coordinator
position.
*Responsibilities: *
1. Organizes club socials and outings.
2. Assist GSC Ski Trip Coordinator
3. Manage social media (Facebook, etc)
4. Act as reservation signatory

Overall, we are seeking an elite squad of highly motivated and dedicated
individuals that will fulfill their duties in an efficient and timely
fashion. Good communication skills are critical. By working as a team, we
want to make this the most successful Snowriders season ever!

*GSC Ski Trip Coordinator:* Former secondary coordinator, Nancy Guillen

*Tuning chair: *Chad Van Gundy

contribute. By doing this on an open forum, we can prepare for formal
elections at the upcoming social.

2. Annual "Meet and Eat" Welcome Back social at the Kresge Pits!

*When*: Monday October 3rd 5:00-7:00pm* *(changed from 330pm)
*Where*: Kresge Pits #1
*What*: Officer elections, Free catered food from Redbones, REI gift
certificate raffle

*NOTE*: If you are planning to run for an officer position, the current
administration asks that you come early to help set up, talk about your
interests and to make sure that you are on time for elections which will be
held around 6pm.
