[Snowriders] Ski House 2008-2009!

Snowriders,

We know its early (although the cold is starting to arrive!), but the 
plan for the 2008-2009 Ski House (http://snowriders.mit.edu/skihouse) 
is ready! Contact us at <sr-skihouse at mit.edu>.

This season we will have a Ski House at "Powder Ridge", less than 3 
miles from the Sunday River Base Lodge (in Sunday River 
http://www.sundayriver.com, Maine).  The ski house is a "cooperative" 
where members can go throughout the season: Nov 27 - Apr 26. This 
year we have three types of memberships:

- "Super" - $1200 - 3 maximum, 2 available
  - Go any nights throughout the season (including week nights)
  - Bring up to 18 guest nights
- "Full" - $600 - 8 maximum, 6 available
  - Go up to 24 weekend nights (Fri/Sat)
  - Bring up to 12 guest nights
- "Half" - $350 - 8 maximum, 5 available
  - Go up to 12 weekend nights (Fri/Sat)
  - Bring up to 6 guest nights

As you can see, we already have interest and memberships will sell 
out (and the limits are strict). If you want to join, we need a $100 
security deposit and then you pay the rest of your membership at the 
end of October.

The house is not open to general "single weekend trips". However, 
like in the past, we will have at least one weekend (Presidents' 
Weekend in Feb 14-16) where a group can rent the house (details later 
in November). Individuals who want to go just a couple of times need 
to become friends with members :-)
