[Snowriders] Welcome Back & Webmaster

Welcome Snowriders,

I am Peter Pflanz the current president for Snowriders.  I want to introduce
myself and welcome
new and returning students here to MIT.

The first event we have scheduled this year is our BBQ Thursday September 27th @
5PM
in the Kresge Pits.  I hope everyone will join us for some food and we will have
information
regarding the upcoming trips.  We have set the schedule and will post this
information soon.
We also are selling the combo pass to Sunday River & Sugarloaf this year.  This
pass will
be available for purchase soon.

Finally Snowriders is seeking a new webmaster which is an officer level position
in the
club and includes free skiing this year for your contribution to the club.   
The site is already
built and this position is more of a maintenance role.   I think the weekly
changes should be very manageable but we
need to have a guru to fix any problems that may come up. The person we are
seeking needs experience with Red Hat, SSL, http,
https, php, and certificates.  This person is expected to  attend our monthly
meetings and they should expect about 1-2 hrs a week keeping
the site updated during the season.
