Snowriders will be hosting a Season Kickoff Party on November 30th
from 6-8 pm at MIT's favorite watering hole, the Thirsty Ear Pub.
It'll be a great way--for those of you 21 and older, of course--to
meet and greet your fellow Snowriders, and the perfect forum to tell
exaggerated extreme skiing stories. We will have complimentary pizza
and soft drinks for you, and the Ear's normal libations will also be
available for purchase. Mark your calendars...

This event is brought to you by the Graduate Student Council.

7) First Bus Trip of the Season --> Sunday River

Last but not least (and also to make sure you read to the end), MIT
Snowriders first bus trip of the season is scheduled for Sunday,
December 3, 2006. The resort of choice is Sunday River, Maine. More
information will follow two weeks before the trip and signups will
open the week before.

In addition, Snowriders is in the process of recruiting new bus
monitors for our trips. The role of the bus monitor is crucial to
the success of each trip. Your role as a monitor starts two weeks
before the trip and ends as soon as everyone exits the bus safe back
on MIT campus. The total work load is roughly four hours, not
including your free bus ride to the mountain. If you are interested,
please email sr-bus at mit.edu Serious inquiries only, you are
responsible for 55 passengers!

******************************************************************

Again, many thanks to everyone who purchased a season pass. I can't
wait for this season to begin and I hope to ski you on the slopes.
