Hello Scripts users,

As you know, Scripts relies heavily on SQL (http://sql.mit.edu/) to
provide data storage for webapps such as Wordpress, MediaWiki, and
custom-written applications. We take security and privacy extremely
seriously, which is why the Scripts and SQL teams are excited by
research currently being done at CSAIL to write CryptDB [1], a secure
SQL database. The CryptDB team is looking for users that run Wordpress
blogs, Mediawiki sites or phpBB forums on Scripts/SQL to opt-in to
using CryptDB.

Opting-in only requires changing the SQL configuration for the
web-app; Scripts Team will coordinate with the CryptDB team to migrate
the data and perform the configuration changes. Your data will be kept
backed-up in both a traditional MySQL database as well as a CryptDB
MySQL database.

If you're interested, or would like to learn more, please send an
email to scripts-cryptdb at mit.edu.

Sincerely,
-Alex
on behalf of the Scripts Team
