Dear scripts.mit.edu users,
We're writing to let you know that on Thursday, July 9, 2009, all of
the scripts.mit.edu servers will be upgraded from Fedora 9 to Fedora 11,
which was released on June 9.
Please take a few moments to look through the important information
on the following webpage, which includes details about the upgrade,
things you should do to prepare for it, and other improvements being
made to the scripts.mit.edu service.

We strongly encourage you to test your website as soon as possible, and
to contact us at scripts at mit.edu or come to our office hours in W20-557
(check the URL above for times) if you experience any problems. The
easiest way to test your site is to run the following commands at an
Athena workstation and then visit your website in the browser that opens,
but the website listed above has more details and important information:
athena% add scripts
athena% firefox-test
Please remember that the best ways to keep up to date on news and
important announcements about scripts.mit.edu are to check our
development blog at http://scripts.mit.edu/news, and to be subscribed
to the low-volume scripts-announce mailing list. Please do share
