To Whom It May Concern:

I work on Jerusalem 2050 in CIS and DUSP. I received the below announcement for an internship researching local government candidates for the upcoming elections. I hope that you'd be willing to post this or email it out for MIT undergrads.

Polimedia Group: Editorial Intern

Be a part of building the next Web 2.0 political phenomenon! We are developing a major political networking and activism site set to launch this summer, and we're looking for a politically inclined editorial intern to join our team ASAP.

Job Description:
Typical duties will include developing election-related content, assisting the technical team with application testing, and moderating user-submitted stories and comments.

About us:
We're an early stage startup headquartered in Phoenix, AZ and Boston, MA. We provide a non-partisan but politically infused environment, with plenty of opportunities for initiative and a chance to be involved with the project from an early stage.

Requirements:
Strong communication skills and a passion for politics. While we may have an occasional meeting in our Davis Square office (right on the MBTA Red Line), this will be a telecommuting position so regular access to the Internet is a must. We expect you to commit to about 10-20 hours per week, but can be flexible around academic commitments
(read: we won't ask you to work during finals week). This internship is unpaid, but we'll be happy to work with your institution to facilitate academic credit, if applicable.
