Using handheld computers and GIS software, volunteers are collecting detailed data on the city?s street trees that will be used by the City of Boston and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation to dramatically expand the capacity of city and state agencies to manage and improve Boston?s urban forest. We are looking for outgoing, energetic individuals to fill several different GBUFI internships. Our intern team will include Field Interns responsible for data collection, Team Leaders with additional administrative duties, as well as a Volunteer Coordinator and GIS Coordinator with further administrative responsibilities.
