2) Seaborg Institute for Transactinium Science
at Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking Fellows
The goal of this program is to give young scientists a greater appreciation
of the diverse role of chemistry and physics in nuclear energy, national
defense, and legacy cleanup. We hope that these activities will help
stimulate scientists towards careers in nuclear science. Therefore, we are
seeking highly motivated undergraduate or graduate students with a
scientific background in chemistry or related disciplines. Previous
research experience in these areas will be highly regarded, and will be
given equal weight with previous academic achievements. Lastly, as with all
of Los Alamos National Laboratory's programs, we realize that excellence is
obtained through a diversity of backgrounds and interests.
