Dear STS community,

Please join us at the MIT Welcome Center on Thursday, April 16 at 4:30 for a talk by Charles Piller, an investigative correspondent for Science and the author of "Doctored<https://www.simonandschuster.com/books/Doctored/Charles-Piller/9781668031254>," who will discuss his work uncovering fraud in Alzheimer's research, what his findings mean for both therapeutics and scientific research going forward, and the backlash he faced for his reporting. The talk will be followed by a reception. We hope some of you can join us.

Best,
