Dear all,

As part of our STS-History-Anthropology series of talks this year, STS is hosting Alyssa Parades next Monday, Feb. 13th.  Alyssa is an anthropologist from the University of Michigan, and she works on plantation economies and supply chains, especially in the Philippines, studying the environmental consequences of cheap tropical food.  Her talk will begin at 4 pm in the Nexus in Hayden Library.
