Subject: [Ugoffs] Workshops for Faculty and TAs in Communication-Intensive Subjects
Dear Colleagues,
Next week, the Writing Across the Curriculum Program is offering a series of workshops for faculty and TAs who teach Communication-Intensive subjects, or who are interested in incorporating more speaking and writing assignments in any of their subjects. The workshops are on teaching visual literacy, including the visual presentation of data; on providing feedback and guiding revision; and on various kinds of oral communication instruction. I’ve attached a poster with more information, which we’d love for you to post and/or to forward to faculty and graduate students.
Thank you!
Best,
Suzanne
