My apologies if you receive this message more than once. Because of the expectation of unusually bad weather (especially in the New York area), the presentation by Stuart Firestein (Columbia University) on his new book, Ignorance: How it Drives Science that had been scheduled for Monday, 29 October has been POSTPONED. There will be no lecture on Monday, 29 October.

We will reschedule Prof. Firestein's visit and announce the new date and time soon.
