Hi,
I just wanted to let you know about two special events in STS that are
happening this spring:
1. Manuel Castells annual visit, March 10-17.
Monday March 10 - Castells invited to regular STS
faculty/student lunch
Monday March 17 - Castells invited to give an informal talk to
faculty and students, followed by a reception.
2. The Morison Prize Lecture in Engineering and the Humanities:
This year's Morison Prize Lecturer will be Prof. David
Billington of Princeton University.
Thursday May 1 - Informal lecture seminar by Billington in
E51-095
Friday May 2 - Morsion Prize Lecture, 2pm, Bartos Theater,
reception to follow
