Please join the Life Sciences/Environmental Working Group this Friday, November the 17th when *Peter
Godfrey-Smith *from Harvard's philosophy department will talk to us about 
*"Idealization and Abstraction in Evolutionary Biology."*

As always, we will meet from noon to 2pm in the Science Center, room 252.  Lunch
will be served, but just remember to rsvp to Ellen Guarente at
guarente at fas.harvard.edu so we know to order enough food.

There is no need to read anything in advance, but if you are interested you can

where he has lots of papers posted for your reading pleasure.
