Harvard University's Charles Warren Center for Studies in American 
History will co-host a two-day symposium May 11-12 with Richard White 
(Stanford University) on his new project, "The Sorcerer's Apprentice: 
Transcontinental Railroads and the Shaping of Modern North America". 
There are no pre-circulated papers for this conference and all are 
welcome.
