For those of you who are interested in the issue of drilling for oil and
natural gas in ANWR, this presentation would be an excellent opportunity to
learn more about one of the biggest environmental issues involved -
destruction of the caribou herds. This event is hosted by Terrascope, and I
highly recommend coming and bringing your friends, as the slide show
promises to be excellent and Elaine Alexie, a 25-year Gwich'in, will also
be speaking. For those of you who are always drawn in by food, there will
be refreshments at this event as well. Time, date, and location information
are below, and I hope to see you there on Monday night.
