Forwarding the leave request work item using SWIA

Leave Request works on a HCM concept of statuses for attendances and absences.  These statuses are controlled through HCM configuration behind the central HCM transaction PTARQ. You need to work with these statuses and concepts, and not go around them with standard workflow functionality.

Best I can suggest is to talk to your local HCM consultants, and reference configuration information around PTARQ. Those statuses are quite flexible so you should be able to do what you need to do.  It’s just been too long since I’ve worked with them personally for me to give any direct advice.

Hi Experts,


We are using Fiori Leave Request Workflow. When the Workflow Administrator forwards the leave work item from initial approver to another approver, the leave request data (from PTARQ) is not being forwarded. The new approver has the work item in their workflow inbox, however it is not showing in Approve Leave Request App. I checked the backend and found that there are some tables holding the approver id like PTREQ_HEADER, PTREQ_APPROVER, PTREQ_ACTOR etc. Can somebody suggest how to forward the leave request work items from one person to another.
