There are also WAPIs if you want to find workflows used in say the last year. Its a matter of whether you are looking for active workflows or workflows in use - not always the same thing

Hi Jocelyn,

May be checking also SWI1 with type F on a period of time could provide workflow that are not triggered by event ?
Because in SWETYPV I think we only get the active event but not all the workflow running no ?

Hi Vijay
Try transaction SWETYPV and the tables underlying that to get a count of active wflows. Custom wflows start with WS9. Application vs process controlled is a SRM distinction that has no meaning elsewhere

Hi,

Is there a way to determine the number of workflows( standard and Custom built ) and the different types of workflows available in the system? I mean I would like to know if there is any standard query or Table which holds the number of active workflows in a customer?s system and also a way to determine how many of them are process-controlled workflows and how many of them are application-controlled workflows?

Hi Colm have you checked if they have any UWL personalizations active? That might be overriding your changes.

Hi Guys,

We have a WF task that we have completed the XML configuration for so that we have the Approve\Reject buttons and a comment box appearing on the portal. This works for most users but not for all and we can't identify what the difference is, we have replicated the issue in our test system and have provided SAP_ALL and Portal_Admin roles to the user but they still can't see the buttons.

We've logged in with a user that works and one that doesn't on the same machine and still the problem remains so that rules it out as being an IE issue.

Has anyone seen anything similar? Any help much appreciated.

Thanks!
Colm

Hi

I have done this many many times before....

A really basic question, but its beating me :-(

I am in a new SRM 7.0 environment

A few days ago I successfully ran the auto config, SWU3, wf-batch and the
logical destination, ok.

Now I come to it and 'Configure RFC destination' has a red cross, I try
and execute it, it fails, message telling me the Synchronization of
Passwords Failed.

I have tried deleting and re-creating, wf-batch and logical destination
(automatically)

Still i get the 'Synchronization of Passwords failed'

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Kind Regards

John Haworth

John ?

I believe this has to do with WF-BATCH has a password which is set up to require a password change every XXX number of days (and it apparently has changed)? I would see your Basis person or Security person to see how the user WF-BATCH is configured.

Hi John,

Make sure your user has sufficient authorisation e.g. WF Admin and Basis Admin at least.

They try again.
