Workflow Overview Screen

Thanks for the note. I believe this note did change the look the workflow overview screen. Previously, the box was only taking part of the screen and there was no way to maximize it. Now, the box takes up the entire screen. We did not make any adjustments to the layout prior to the patches.

Monique, OSS note below included in SAKB70112 mentions the window size has been increased. That should not be causing the issue you are facing I think....

I will get screenshots tomorrow when I am back in the office.
Prior to the patches, the screen opened and only took a portion of my computer screen with no option to resize. Now it opens and takes the entire screen.

Oh ok Monique – well screenshots would have helped, but regardless the
answer may be the same, i.e. to use the layout options and the usual column
drag/drop options to adjust the look and feel. You might also want to try
resizing the window if you can as that should also sort it out.

Jocelyn
Another solution is to modify the code that opens that dialog window to open a
bigger window... Not that I am recommending it ;-)

Actually the image has changed. The scroll bar used to be in the middle of
the screen and now it is at the bottom. We did not change our columns. The
latest patches for some reason changed the image. I can certainly send a
before and after if that would help explain it.

Hi Monique,
I suspect you may be overthinking it... The scroll bars haven’t moved to
the bottom. That’s just what happens on any list if you have more columns
than can fit on the width/height of the screen area you have available.
The usual Change Layout icon to adjust the column layouts to what you want
is available above the list and that should let you reduce the width to fit
to your preferred window size.

Jocelyn

Subject: Workflow Overview Screen
We recently went through a patch upgrade from SAPKB70110 to SAPKB70112. I
noticed that the workflow overview screen looked different when I pulled up
a document (either through FBV3 or ME23N). I could not figure out what the
difference was until now. The scroll bar that is normally in the middle of
the screen is now at the bottom of the screen. This makes it very
confusing because you don’t realize there are more entries on the top
because the scroll bar that goes down is hidden until you click on the
scroll bar at the bottom to move to the right.
Does anyone have any idea why the scroll bar was moved to the bottom of the
page and how to get it back in the middle of the screen? I was not sure if
I could include before and after screenshots on this e-mail so I will wait
to see if someone needs to see them.
Happy Holidays!!!
