Can we use Decision Task in POWL? [Scanned]

I'm not sure if this is relevant for the HR releases you are on (possibly the EHP5 one) but I got this working for the NWBC POWL inbox in SRM 7 a couple of years ago.

I had to create a missing IMG node (see note 1479830) and do some customising which was specific to each task (I had copied TS8267) and specify the various actions (Approve, Reject etc.)

A note was then written at the time to enable the User Decisions to work - Have you applied note 1511251 (if it is relevant for your system)?

Thanks for your reply. Yes we are using the NWBC web interface(not the desktop interface).  I will take a look at POWL_EASY transaction and update back with more details.

Are you using the NWBC to access the POWL list? It's intended to work with that.

Try the POWL_EASY transaction for more detail and access to config

Hi,

We have developed a custom workflow which has a user decision task for approval of educational qualifications entered by the employee. When we try to access this workitem from POWL inbox we get the following error message

Basic POWL functionality does not support work item type 'Decide'




We are on ECC6.0 SAP_HR 604 ( Ehp 4) & EA-HR( Ehp 5 ). Any idea if we can use decision box in POWL in this version? If so, could you guide me on what configurations are involved?

I have looked at the blog from SCN http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-31014  but it does not refer anything specific to decision task. Any pointers?
