AW: Determine the user that last changed a form?

...scratch that last bit about the missing container elements, I was somehow too dense to restart the transaction SWUD after changing the container structure. However, the fields are still not filled. I also tried to export the _Wi_Actual_Agent that Sue Doughty mentioned, but the container element stays empty as well even thought I can see the values I would expect in the technical log of the step...

Richa,

I've tried to use this in the data flow definition - define a USR01 element in my container and catch the ExecutedBy value on the way back from the Form step. This doesn't work - in the SWUD container view, I can't even see my element among the contents of the workflow container. I don't understand what might be causing this...

Best regards
  Volker

Hi Volker,

The last dialog user of a workitem can be obtained in the container WORKITEM.EXECUTEDBY...
Hope it helps.

Hello,

I'm working on a simple demonstration ad-hoc workflow that contains two forms - nothing fancy, just some text fields for a question and an answer. Now I'd like to store who asked the question (that's easy, I can use the WF initiator for this) and who provided the answer. I could probably put together some ABAP coding that gets the user that is currently logged on and stores it in a hidden field inside the form - but isn't there a way to do this without coding? Is there some container element that I'm not yet aware of that keeps track of the last dialog user or of the dialog user of the previous step or something like that?

Thanks in advance
  Volker
