Execute WF steps in a different client

Hi Volker,
Doesn't exactly match the below scenario (top level workflow in one
client, sub-workflow in another), but I would've thought that if it's
different clients in the same system that are held on the same database,
then you could run custom code for the relevant steps where the data is
selected by referencing the specific value of the client (reference the
client for the field 'MANDT' in the SELECT statements of the various data
tables you need to work with).
Best Regards,

Subject: Execute WF steps in a different client
Sent by: sap-wug-bounces at mit.edu
Hi all,
I’d like to automate some steps using a Workflow. I’ve already prepared
most of the steps so that they could be executed automatically in
background processing. I still need one piece to complete the puzzle: for
technical reasons, some of the steps have to be executed in different
clients. Can I tell the “master workflow” in client 123 to start a
“sub-workflow” in client 456 and wait until it’s completed before
continuing?
Thanks
Volker Wegert
