AGENT NOT FOUND

Dear Experts,

I have created a custom workflow which has following steps

1. Event Trigger - (Passing parameter = ID)
2. First Background Step( This accept the ID and passing to the WF Class
Method and in return returning agents as 'US<SY-UNAME>' which i am storing
in workflow container
3. Dialog Step (Where is simply set the Expression =  WF_AGENT ( value
'US<SY-UNAME>)

In workflow log,i can see the value of WF_AGENT but i am getting NO AGENT
FOUND for dialog step.

Task is set as General Task. dont know where is the issue.
