Where-used (BOR editor) in 7.02?

I've submitted a message but thought I would share some follow on info.

When doing a where-used list, on the results page, you may see:

If you click on the 'Complete List' button, you will then be able to drill
down into the BOR object, with the BOR interface.

Wonderful!

The only question is - what's the difference? The tool knows what you are
working on (whether you are looking at the 'Basic List' or the 'Complete
List') so why is it being a pain? And is there a way to get this setting to
'stick'?

Hi Sue and Arghadip,

Please raise the usual SAP Messages... sigh. Things only get fixed when they
are reported. The more customers who report it the more likely and the more
quickly fixes are done.

Regards,

Jocelyn

Hi Susan

The editor for BOR has changed in 7.02. Finally it is the updated editor and
also you have now 12 dynamic fields thaat you can add in SWL1.

Yaa I am facing the same issue. Workaround after you are on the editor
goto->Basic Data->Double click on Business object Bus2081 and you get that
view.

Thanks

Arghadip

Hi All,

We are upgrading our ECC system to 7.02. When I do a where-used on a
function, and then try to drill into the business object, I get different
results from pre-upgrade.

For example, if you do a where-used on MRM_INVOICE_CONFIRM in a 7.01 system,
RBUS2081 is returned. If you choose the eyeglasses to drill into the
object, you get the traditional BOR interface, showing interfaces,
attributes, methods, events.

In the 7.02 system, if I do a where-used on the same function, RBUS2081 is
still returned. But if I chose to drill down into the program with the
eyeglasses, I am dropped straight into the ABAP editor - with no BOR
interface.

However, in the 7.02 system, when I get my where-used list, if I hit the
pencil (change) the BOR object is shown with the BOR interface. Of course,
I never would do this to RBUS2081.

I've checked ABAP editor settings, and also checked with someone else on a
totally different 7.02 system - ie: not in my company (who gets the BOR
interface), and checked a different computer/different user.

Any help would be appreciated,

Sue
