How-to Close User Decision Window

Hi Darryl,
Ok well that's unfortunately the oldest and most limited of all the workflow inboxes in terms of customization.
You could maybe try the work item exits.

Anyone else still using SBWP and have some suggestions?

Also Darryl... on that release you might want to take a look at the POWL list - it's designed for use with the NBWC and is essentially the closest ABAP WD equivalent to the UWL for those without Portal. See note 1149144

Jocelyn

Hi Darryl,
Which inbox are you using? The options are completely different for the UWL or POWL vs. SBWP for instance so it matters big time for a scenario like this.

Jocelyn

Subject: How-to Close User Decision Window

We have a situation in which a user executing a user decision elects to enter the business object via the objects and attachments link. While in the business object the user makes changes to the business object that now makes the user decision work item obsolete. Currently when the user backs out of the business object, they return to the obsolete work item which has been completed by a wait for event in the workflow. Our users would like when they back out of the business object to return to their business workplace rather than to the executed work item.

Does anyone know of a solution that will automatically close the executed work item window when the user backs out of the business object in this situation?

We are on SAP ECC 6.0 SAP Basis Component 7.01
