Do users have to add DYNAMIC cols to their inbox?

Hi folks,
I've configured dynamic columns for business workplace inbox via SWL1 -all good they work fine.
My question is, does each user have to add the columns to their inbox for each task (via Choose Layout) or can it be done centrally?
There are a lot of different tasks they can receive that all use the same dynamic columns.
