Positions as task agents and custom relations

Hi wf experfs, I am doing some testing with using positions as workitem recipients
but there some aspects which I don't seem to figure out. I am using an approval task with an agent contained in a container
expression. The expression is a position object S xxxxxxxx. With one holder assigned to the position all works as expected.
If I assign a second holder to the same position, the second holder
does not see the wi in her inbox (the first one has not yet accepted the wi).
What makes the workflow runtime aware of the OM changes?
I tried SWU_OBUF but that doesn't do the trick. On a related question: the wf runtime most likely uses standard
evaluation pathes to do the mapping from positions to persons to WF users.
If my company uses additional custom OM relations between positions
and persons is there a way to customize an alternative evaluation path
for this mapping? Thanks for any pointers.
Matt
