Hypertext Link used in Notification accessed from UWL

This isn't a work item. This is a link as part of the text of a notification (email) sent in UWL. I am sending a notification using the send email step to the initiator (under the notification tab in UWL) when a HCM form has been processed and is completed. As part of the notification, there is a link to the exit process for the university which is a link to a list of steps that should occur when someone has separated such as remembering to take their keys and set up an exit interview.

Thanks,
Cheri Myers

Hi, I have found the following.

If you have a problem with the subject not being underlined and therefore not opening when clicked at the UWL line level then there is something wrong with the defaultAction in the xml for the task. Options are launchWebDynPro, ViewDetail, launchiViewAction etc. depending on what you have implemented.

I am trying to set up a link to a HR URL via a notification accessed from UWL on the portal.

I have it as a hyper link that shows underlined and when you click it nothing happens. However, if I access it from Business Workplace the link works correctly. Is there something in the portal that isn't working for this? something I have to change for UWL?

Or is there a different way to have my workflow set up the notification email?

I have a container variable for the URL whose initial value is Exit Process

I then put that variable in the description. It shows as a link and you when you click it you can see something happening but it doesn't show a message or go anywhere. Our portal person has looked at it briefly but I thought I'd check this group.

Thanks,
