Workflow start condition failing

Hi Srini,
A couple of other things to remember:

&block& must be filled as part of the event-to-workflow binding itself for it to be available to the start condition.

Event linkage will contain a standard check function module if the start condition has been created correctly - you can see this in SWE2. Do not change the check function module manually!

Event linkages are client dependent so if you are developing in a different client to your runtime client make sure the event linkage has been transported!!! Best option is to go into the workflow builder SWDD in the runtime client to display the workflow and check it's ok.

The event log SWEL details will show if the start condition has been evaluated - you should see some message about whether or not the check function module was successful.

You can use the options in transaction SWUE to run the event triggering all in the same LUW and therefore be able to debug (using /h) through to what's happening in the event linkage.

And I agree with Rick ... easiest place to check the start condition is clean is in SWDD.

Good luck!
Jocelyn

Hello,

Just click on the button under C (where you expect to see the icon)
and add the condition yourself.

You don't have to do anything in SWE2, it call all (and best) be done
via the workflow builder.
