Trigerring workflow with out event

Hi Gopinth,

I would wonder first what scenario you are looking at? The ability to
couple/decouple from an event is highly desirable - and a lot of times the
business/configuration folks don't know where/how to raise an event. Have
you been thru all the traditional choices? Change Docs, Status Management?
BADIs or User Exits?

If you use a BADI or User Exit, I would still recommend using
SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT and creating a custom event, as this will preserve the
ability to decouple. You also retain the use of the Event Queue.

Regards,
Sue
