ECC6 to ECC7 Upgrade workflow query.

Thanks for your response.

As I understand it, the user who received the 13000 messages, had never 
received that many in total previously, and most of them were not directed 
at him. So it was as similar to the scenario when a task cant resolve who 
to send to, the system sends to everyone, if the task has been set as a 
general task.

But I will check your suggestion, thanks

Hi John,
You probably had unsent Messages in your sapconnect Interface, These 
Messages got Sent After the upgrade. My Best guess is that some Basis Guy 
activated the previously inactive Mail interface. Make sure to delete 
unsent Email Messages or better figure out how come there are unsent 
Messages Before the Upgrade, use Transaction sost to do this. Additionaly 
your Basis guys should Disable the outgoing Mail Fax etc Interfaces via 
Transaction Scot Before the upgrade and enable the Interfaces in a 
Controlled Männer.

received 1000's of workflow related emails. One user received 13000!, the 
customer is asking why and will it happen when upgrading the production 
system. 

Could anyone shed any light as to why this could happen?
