Good Morning Mike,

Thanks for responding to my questions. Most of the attachments are Word docs.

This information helps.

Regards,

Fruzzie

G'Day Fruzzie,

WI Attachments are really just links to documents in their own right which
will follow whatever archiving strategy is set up for them. This could be
Orders, Invoices, Drawings, SapOffice Documents, whatever.

If you're talking about text attachments or things like Word Docs, they
live in the SapOffice repository so you'll need to dig into that area.

It's been a while since I worked with WF archiving so I can't remember
if/how the link is archived with the work item - perhaps someone can fill
in here? The attachments themselves are definitely not archived with the
work item, but I +think+ the reference may still be preserved in form of a
document number or sorts, but unless someone can confirm you'll need to
test this.

Hope that helps,
Mike
