Role Based Extended Notifications

Hi Folks,

Does anyone know if it is possible to use Extended notifications to 
control a notification, which is triggered by one task TS900000001, to 
user's with different roles?

The requirement comes about from a task which gets sent to a group of 4-5 
people (Role A) many times during the day and another group of people 
(Role B) who receive it intermittently.

The request is to only send the notification for task TS900000001 to Role 
B users. Is that possible using Extended Notifications?
