Ravi,

This was an option in SWI1/SWIA menu. You won't find it through WF log

Thanks

Manish

I just had a look in a 46c system but there is no such option under Edit, in the technical wi display.
I have a background step that is 'hanging' since I deleted the RFC connection.
There is an execute that is greyed out under Work Item.
The onlu options under Edit are Change and Cancel, as in ECC6.

Cheers

Yes Rick.

These are in status 'Started'.

I clearly remember, in 4.6C there used to a menu item "Edit > Work item > Execute background work item" in SWI1/SWIA .

SWWERRE is running, however that has a 20 min cycle.

While testing an issue, the background step was stuck because the base Transaction was open in change mode. I closed that and thought of re-executing the background workitem. It is then when I realised that the menu item was no longer available.

Hello,

'Started'? Not 'In Process'?

Is SWWERRE running?
