One workflow template needs to update using other workflow template

Dear Experts,

I have two workflow templates, Both have definitions. now i have changed one
workflow template and want to update the same in other workflow template.

I tried with XML, like i downloaded first workflow template into XML and
when i tried to upload the same to other template, it simply open the first
one with same template id and version.

Is there any way to achieev it without manually editing the 2nd workflow
template?
