That's true, but also check with the tranx SWU3 whether any cross marks if there ask BASIS to excute them.

Hi Jocelyn, Thanks for your quick response. The workflow is getting triggered. But at some point its getting struck up. I donno how to process it. Any specific tcode is involved in this case and it’s a workitem.

Mail or work items? – be specific please as there are completely different steps to follow…
 
If it’s mail – check transaction SOST to see if there is a problem with the communication to your mail server
If it’s work items check transaction SWEQADM to see if there is an event linkage in error, check transaction SWEL to see if there are event linkages that have failed, 
Check SWPR to see if the workflow is in ERROR status.

Hi,
     We are into ECC6.We have problem in PO release.Its working fine in DEV.In PROD it was running fine but past from 2 days its not triggering mail to the concerned persons inbox(SBWP).So please guide me what exactly I need to follow the steps because its in PROD and need to be cautious.
