Need help to work with work flow

I would be interested in the timing of the mail that was sent.  Is it possible that it was waiting to be sent, and it only appeared to be sent after the invoice?
Can you backtrack from the message to the workflow responsible?  Are there multiple workflows linked to this SC?  It has happened in our environment (with a lot of customizing to the inbox, so shame on us) that users can trigger an additional workflow while approving a cart.  But then again, this is a highly customized inbox so not likely to occur in your case.

Sorry for insisting the team and i am apalogizing for it.

My concern is once SC is approved and po and invoice has been done ..i think system wont allow us for changes in SC. then does it possible to trigger the SAVE event..i checked no start conditions for shopping cart.

Here on the SAP-WUG forum, one of our first principles is that we hope our members will do their own 'due diligence' as well as give some details as to the scenarios and releases that they are on.  But please, the contributors here do so of their own good will, and are under no obligation to answer your question - so don't needle us to provide answers, OK?

As for your question, it would be helpful to know what system you are on, as the methods for determining how things happen can change from release to release.  Assuming you are on SRM 5.0, your workflow on Shopping Carts * may * have been triggered by the event BUS2121 SAVED.  There may be linkage from this event to workflow in transaction SWETYPV,  or you could check your start conditions in transaction SWB_COND.

Meanwhile, I suggest you purchase or otherwise obtain a copy of 'Practical Workflow for SAP' from SAP-Press.  And yes, although I am one of the credited authors, all proceeds go to MSF, so I won't make a thin dime.  It's a valuable resource for workflow administrators and developers at any level.

Scenario is ...shoppint cart has been created and converted to po and inovice has been done.
but unfortunately work flow triggered for the approved SC and mails were sent for approver. we are not sure how this happened. we manually fixed this issue by running this transaction BBP_BGRD_APPROVAL.

Could you please hint me how work flow triggered for approved SC.
