Hi Jimmy,
For us, everything on the ERP side is based upon position. We only take advantage of the org structure on the HR side.
Cheers,
Sherie

Hi Sherie,
thanks for the quick response, Do you ALE entire Org. Structure, or everything is based on position?
Best Regards,

Hi Jimmy,
Our company has HR on a separate instance from the rest of ERP. Our positions and people are ALE’d from HR to ERP on a daily basis. Thus the agent determination is kept within the instance. Don’t know if that is an option for you.
Best Regards,
Sherie

Subject: HR on separate instance
Workflow Experts,
Working with a new client who is using Workflow extensively on a 4.6 system with Org. Structure defined in the R/3 system. No they want to upgrade to ECC 6.0 and they have a separate HR instance. Anyone can provide some suggestion on how should workflows handle agent determination through the HR on separate instance?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
