UWL - Delta Pull - Refresh

Hi,

We have a similar problem. After a while the data in the UWL display seems
to become corrupted.

Not only do the values in the Attribute columns no longer match the values
in the Subject column, but
also the URL links in the workitems become corrupted and point to the wrong
business objects.

Clearing the various caches fixes the problem.

The users are not impressed. And neither am I - it gives the impression
that workflow is a flaky product!

I will report it to OSS as well. I urge everyone to do so...

cheers
Paul Bakker

Sorry I cannot help Ecept to say that we have had the same problem at our
site for about 6 months. I have tried to report it to SAP but the amount of
info they want to be able to prove that it happens is insurmountable. I
send information they ask for other information and so it goes along.

We get around it by clearing the cache but not before the users trust in
the system is destroyed.

We do have the delta pull program running, to set it up refer to pages 104
and 105 of book Universal Worklist with SAP Netweaver Portal by Darren
Hague.

Regards,

Margaret Jaco.

Subject: UWL - Delta Pull - Refresh

Last week we had two workitems with conflicting data in the header and
body displayed in the UWL. Workitem One had a header that really should
have been associated with Workitem Two's body of the workitem
description. Workitem Two had a header that should have been related to
the body of the description for Workitem One. Image attachments were
also mixed.
When executing the refresh, it did not make a difference in the way the
two workitems were displayed.
When the UWL was re-registered and the cache cleared the workitems
displayed correctly.

Delta Pull is configured for the UWL and it supposedly runs the default
of every minute.

What can I check to make sure that the Delta Pull is actually running
and updating the cache of the UWL. My understanding is that it is a
java program that executes on the portal.

Thank you,

Tom Simon

Liz,
?
What does the dump show, see if you can get SAP_CTSK to execute without
the additional lines.
?
I don't know if there's a BADI where you can change the standard agent
resolution.? The?evaluation path should be the "easy" solution.?

Thomas,

I changed the line 105 of SAP_CTSK and still got the same results.

I always refresh my buffers and log off and on to see if that helps
also.

What is very interesting is that with the tcode PPST when I execute it
with SAP_CTSK I get a short dump.? However when I execute it with a
Z_CTSK version I get my org structure displayed.?

So how can I get the agent assignment to use the Z_CTSK evaluation path
rather then the SAP_CTSK.? I have not been able to find where this is
configured.

Thank you for seeing this through with me.? It's pivotal to my project!

Liz,
?
Don't have a system in front of me but will attempt to help.?
Your?starting point is an Org Unit, with users to be returned.
?
There are a number of ways to handle, I would suggest:
For line 210 change?line number to??
? 105? O????? B?? 002??????? Is line supervisor? *??????? O??????????
?

Line 220 not necessary because covered in line 110.
?
Line 230 not necessary because covered in line 120.
??
?
Be careful, the standard delivered evaluation path did not have this
relationship defined -?why?? Maybe because everyone in the company would
be an agent if?assigned incorrectly.? Will this change affect other
processes?
?
Regards,
Thomas Maue

Liz,
?
Did you run SWU_OBUF to clear the buffers?
?
Maybe we have it backwards, try:

?
You can test with transaction PPST and see what your infotype records
are.

Liz,

Will this change affect other
processes?
?
Regards,
Thomas Maue

I need help identifying why when I assign my highest Org Unit 1 to a
task in Agent Assignment, I consistantly getting No Selected Agent.
The following is an example of my org structure that I have created:
Org Unit 1
??????? Org Unit A
??????? ??????? Position 1
??????? ??????? ??????? User 1
??????? ??????? ??????? User 2
??????? Org Unit B
??????? ??????? Position 2
??????? ??????? ??????? User 1
??????? ??????? ??????? User 2
??????? ??????? ??????? User 3
??????? Org Unit C
??????? ??????? Position 3
??????? ??????? ??????? User 1
??????? ??????? ??????? User 2
??????? ??????? ??????? User 3
??????? etc?.

I am assigning Org Unit 1 in the Agent Assignment.?? This is not
working.? If I list Org Unit A, B, C etc then it works.? I don't want to
have to list all the org units as there are several.?
Here is the Evaluation Path for SAP_CTSK Task customizing -> agent
assignment??????????
I added number 210, 220, 230.? I'm not sure if that is what I need or
not?????
