Suspend deadlines for resubmitted work items

G'Day, 

 

Standard SAP triggers deadline handling at the specified date, regardless of
status. However we would like to suspend the deadline when the item is
resubmitted. 

 

e.g. an item is sent on 24 Jan with a deadline of one week. The approver
resubmits it for processing on 1 Feb. The deadline should move to 7 Feb.

As an aside, the almighty Google seems to be struggling with WUG posts, it
won't find the above post no matter what search terms you use.
