Can anyone point me to any examples as to how BRF works with a workflow? What initiates the BRF?

Hi Dale,

Not sure if I've missed your question, but workflow doesn't interact with
BRF (yet). You would currently have to write your own class to make the
appropriate calls.

Cheers,
Mike

Hi,

You can create a BRF action that sets of a workflow event.

Hello Mike!
Hello Dale!

Yes, BRF does (indirectly) interact with Workflow. In the new SAP for Insurance FS-CM module there exist the concept of business events in BRF triggering workflows.
Actually, the point is that a BRF Event may create a task, which, in turn, triggers a SAP Workflow. The so called tasks can be then found in the transperent DB table ICLACTIVITY.
For this purpose SAP has developed an own implementation class ICL.
Maybe in the more general case of using BRF outside the SAP FS-CM module, a user has to implement a custom implementation class (the equaivalent of ICL).

What SAP module are worikng interested with?

Hope this helps,

Kind regards: Alexander Mintchev
